Transport / Friday’s ferry sailings set to experience delays
NORTHLINK is advising that Friday’s ferry sailings will go ahead but will be subject to delays.
It comes after Wednesday’s and today’s (Thursday) sailings were cancelled.
Due to the weather forecast, the arrival of the northbound passenger sailing into Lerwick on Saturday morning could be delayed by up to three hours.
The southbound sailing may experience delays of up to two hours.
Friday’s northbound freight sailing is cancelled, and the southbound will be delayed.
Meanwhile there is disruption to Shetland’s inter-island ferries today due to the weather.
