News / Queen tribute to rock Mareel
A QUEEN tribute band will perform live in Shetland later this year to kick off the Christmas party season.
Queen II, who have played live across the UK and Europe, will take to the stage at Mareel in Lerwick on 15 December, with local band The Bashies providing support.
Shetland Arts marketing manager Lauren Doughton said: “We’re looking forward to a great night. Queen II have a reputation for bringing the party spirit with them, so this should be the perfect opportunity to do something a different for the office Christmas party.”
Tickets are available now via the Shetland Arts Box Office online, over the phone on 01595 745500 or in person at Mareel.
