Police / Police appeal for information after school polytunnel damaged in Whalsay
POLICE are appealing for information after a large polytunnel at Whalsay school was slashed.
Plants were also overturned within the polytunnel, “causing significant cost and disruption”.
The damage is thought to have taken place at some point between 20 May and 24 May, with officers seeking help from Whalsay residents in their investigations.
Meanwhile, damage was caused to a rear window of a vehicle parked outside the Sandwick youth club between 7.30pm and 9.15pm on Friday (28 May).
Anyone with information on their incident is asked to contact the police on 101 or visit the station in Lerwick.
